Last Friday, November 7th, we had the absolute pleasure of hosting our annual Evening of Christmas – and what an evening it was! With festive spirit in the air and the store sparkling from top to bottom, we welcomed a mix of familiar faces and first-time visitors who helped make the night truly magical.
A Warm Welcome and Festive Cheer
From the moment guests arrived, the tone for the night was set. Shoppers were greeted with complimentary festive treats, bubbles, and mulled wine, creating an instant sense of warmth, community, and celebration. It wasn’t just about shopping – it was about enjoying a shared experience and kicking off the holiday season together.
Exclusive Offers and Inspiration Everywhere
Our beautifully curated departments – from Giftware and Homewares to Ladies’ Fashion and the Christmas Shop – were full of festive wonder. Guests browsed with ease and excitement, enjoying one-night-only discounts and discovering new inspiration for gifts, home décor, and seasonal styling.
We also hosted live product demonstrations, giving customers a closer look at top gifting picks and home essentials for the season ahead. These moments added an interactive, inspiring touch that brought our collections to life.
Tastes of the Season
A huge thank you goes to Gareth from Fatboy Sauces, whose flavour-packed demos were a hit with the crowd! Joining him were standout partners including Ooni Pizza Ovens, Ninja, and Russell Hobbs – all showcasing innovative kitchenware and delicious ideas to spice up your Christmas hosting.
The aromas, tastings, and creative demos were more than just tempting – they reminded us how good food brings people together, especially at this time of year.
A Magical Musical Moment
Perhaps the most moving part of the evening came courtesy of the incredibly talented Gaelscoil Ultain choir. Their stunning performance filled the store with music and joy, bringing festive smiles to everyone present. It was a powerful reminder of what Christmas is really about: connection, joy, and community.
