The Joie i-Snug 2 is a lightweight, rearward-facing infant car seat designed to keep newborns safe and comfortable from birth up to approximately 12 months (75cm). i-Size certified under ECE R129/03 with additional side-impact testing, it’s built to meet the latest European safety standards in i-Size approved vehicles.

The Tri-Protect headrest combines three layers of foam, including an Intelli-Fit memory foam infant pillow, for a cosy, supportive newborn fit that can be removed as your baby grows. The GrowTogether harness and headrest adjust together, so the seat keeps pace with your child without constant readjustment, while the 3-point harness with shoulder and lower buckle covers tightens with a single pull for quick, secure fastening.

A curved base lets the seat rock gently for soothing, and the multi-position ergonomic carry handle makes it easy to carry between car and home. The UPF50+, water-repellent sun canopy shields against glare and showers, and covers and inserts are machine washable for easy care.

As one of the lighter i-Size infant seats, the i-Snug 2 pairs with the i-Base 2, i-Base LX 2, i-Base Encore, and i-Base Advance bases (sold separately) with the i-Base Encore, the seat spins 90° for easier in-car access and the setup can be used for around four years, transitioning later to the i-Harbour i-Size toddler seat. It also clicks onto select Joie pushchairs, and other brands via Maxi-Cosi-style adaptors, for a complete travel system.
